Ira oversees acquisitions and dispositions for Linville’s affordable housing investments. Linville targets portfolio acquisitions of both LIHTC and USDA RD properties throughout the U.S.
He has spearheaded the ownership transfers of more than 250 individual affordable housing partnerships totaling more than $1 billion in net asset value. As the former Chief Operating Officer of Fitch Irick Corporation, Ira spent over 10 years overseeing asset management, disposition, and acquisition functions. As a licensed real estate broker, he was the Broker-in-Charge for Fitch Irick Management LLC, Fitch Irick Corporation’s property management subsidiary. Ira has over 20 years of vital commercial real estate experience across a number of asset classes, ensuring that he can see the whole picture of profitable asset growth. Before joining Fitch Irick Corporation, Ira managed a $25 million real estate acquisition fund, which he successfully exited.
Ira holds a BS in Marketing, MBA, and MS in Health Science from the University of Florida. He is the past Chair of the Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community and has served on the executive boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte and Temple Israel of Charlotte. Ira is married with 3 grown kids. When not working, he is skiing, travelling, or looking for a good bottle of bourbon.
