Charlie is responsible for overseeing development investments made by Linville. Specifically, he identifies markets, collaborates with joint venture partners, and monitors high level development activities to ensure growth is strategically and effectively accomplished. Charlie has spent over 20 years in affordable housing and has been a key principal in the development of more than $0.6 billion of affordable housing assets. As the former Chief Development Officer and founding member of the Fitch Irick Corporation, he has successfully managed the development or rehabilitation of over 4,000 housing units, managed hundreds of relationships with key affordable housing industry players, and ensured that development capital was deployed efficiently, profitably, and impactfully. Charlie takes pride in making sure Linville’s development platform is as profitable as it is impactful.
Charlie holds a BS in Real Estate and Finance from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He and his wife live in Charlotte, NC, with their three children and enjoy attending sports and music events, the outdoors, and traveling.
